Event Services on Campus

The Campus Event Scheduling team books meeting space across the PSU campus for non-academic events hosted by student groups, PSU departments, and external guests. For guests unacquainted with the PSU campus, we can recommend facilities to suit specific needs of their event, including additional furniture and A/V equipment.

Conference Space
PSU has a wide variety of conference space available including meeting rooms in the Smith Memorial Student Union [locate SMSU on the interactive campus map] with variable furniture setups, traditional classroom seating and small, private conference rooms. The Smith Grand Ballroom is large enough to accommodate banquets, lectures, dances and trade fairs for hundreds of guests. Learn more...

Accommodations
Onsite hotel operations are available at University Place, located on campus and owned and operated by PSU. In addition to a variety of luxurious accommodations for visiting guests and dignitaries, University Place also has an outdoor pool, a market and numerous banquet and meeting rooms available to serve visitors.

If your event is in the summer, over 380 residence hall rooms are available on campus in the Summer Housing and Conferenceing program.

Dining & Catering
Delicious and affordable on-site catering is available anywhere on campus through Campus Dish . In addition to catering operations, guests can grab a bite to eat in the food court located on the first floor of the Smith Memorial Student Union, or enjoy a quiet meal and some drinks at LV's Uptown, University Place's on-site restaurant and lounge.

Audio/Visual Support
PSU can provide a wide array of audio/visual support depending on the needs of your conference. Our meeting rooms can be equipped to handle everything from power point presentations to teleconferencing, from film viewings to panel discussions. And all meeting rooms in the Smith Memorial Student Union have wireless internet access. Campus Event Scheduling may refer events that have more demanding A/V needs to their colleagues at Campus Audio/Visual Services .
